Chapter 192 The Giant Ferocious

Chapter 192 The Giant Ferocious

Use the vector to retrieve a planet model.

Blue ocean, vast landmasses, thick clouds, and surface data that has not yet been officially marked by interstellar routes.

Next to the planet model are records of biological morphology.

With a massive skeleton, a thick and long tail, an exaggerated jaw structure, and sharp spine and claws, it is fitted with the mechanical dinosaur form of the Steel Cable Squad.

The vector at the time took over the space bridge data of the shockwave and saw this planet in a bunch of space coordinates, abandoned paths and archived models.

At that time, she felt that this was too much like Earth.

"Was this planet the model for the Grimlock Squad's mechanical dinosaur form?"

The shockwave answered, "Yes."

Have you collected its ecological data?

"Remote data collection".

The finger that draws the vector stops at the edge of the projection.

"Earth."

Shockwave's single eye flickered slightly: "You already know the name of this planet?"

"I guess so."

BICk0 stood aside and entered the name "Earth" into a new profile entry.

The vector stares at the planetary model, deeply concerned about Earth's future.

Have you thoroughly explored this planet?

"No," Shockwave said. "The civilization on this planet does not yet possess stable interstellar capabilities, so intervention would be of limited value, and the risks and rewards would not be commensurate."

"During the observation period, the intelligent population on this planet was still in a stage where mythological narratives and early civilization structures were intertwined. The data samples do not have long-term stability."

The vector was understood; it was still under development and not what she remembered.

Her tone became much more serious, carrying a hint of warning as she said to Shockwave, "Do not interfere with Earth."

"Whatever resources or samples you deem worth studying there, don't bring the war on Cybertron into it."

The shockwave paused for a moment: "Understood."

The vector breathed a slight sigh of relief, but only halfway, and hadn't even exhaled yet.

Then Shockwave spoke again: "But there are additional matters to be added."

He was stuck in his throat.

The vector slowly looked at him.

"Based on records left over from ancient wars and some resource allocation records from the later stages of the Cybertronian Civil War, this planet was once used as a hiding place for energy mines."

The courtroom seemed to be paused, and BICk0's typing paused briefly as he closed the optical mirror, barely suppressing his clenched fist.

"Say that again!?"

The shockwave answered truthfully.

"There are suspected traces of deployment during the ancient war. In the later stages of the Cybertronian Civil War, the Decepticons also used some hidden coordinates as backup energy reserves."

Vector didn't know what expression to make: "Have you established any long-term bases?"

"No complete record."

"Did we interfere with local culture?"

"Based on existing records, there was no systematic interference."

"Then why weren't any armed units deployed to the area?"

The shockwave paused subtly, and the vector gritted its teeth in anger: "Shockwave!"

"The plan exists, but it has not been implemented."

The vector's anger subsided slightly: "What plan?"

Shockwave maintained its cold, logical, and lifeless demeanor: "Private research project."

BICk0 didn't dare to speak much on the side. The chief judge looked like a ticking time bomb, and even the vector himself felt that she was about to turn into a fiery hot pepper.

She strictly forbids the terms "shockwave" and "private research project" from appearing in the same sentence!

"How many of your private research projects haven't been entered into the judicial system?"

"Regarding the project I just mentioned, the monstrous project."

Vector pauses: "What is that?"

The shockwave responded smoothly:

"The Predacon, a powerful prehistoric species on Cybertron, possessed a high-strength body structure, high firepower potential, and air suppression capabilities. Some Predacon fossils remain on Cybertron."

Vector looked at him, a sense of foreboding creeping over him: "And then what did you do with the fossils?"

"Structural restoration has been performed, and cloning is complete."

An indescribable silence fell over the courtroom.

The vector slowly took a breath:

"Shockwave. You just underwent experimental supervision, and now you're telling me you've cloned prehistoric Cybertronian creatures."

"The project started before the regulations took effect."

Vector quickly pressed the edge of his optical glasses to prevent his eye from twitching: "Shut up!"

Shockwave has indeed shut up.

A few seconds later, the vector finally put its hand down.

"Was this originally intended for Earth?"

"One of the planned uses is to deploy some of the giant monsters as vanguard sentinels to hidden areas of Earth's energy mines."

This time, the vector covered its face with both hands.

Shockwave continued, "Its role includes guarding energy reserves, monitoring external threats, serving as the first line of defense if war spreads to the planet, and providing long-range combat support to the Decepticons if necessary."

After listening, Yin Vector remained silent for a moment, unsure where to begin his rant.

"...Are you sure it wasn't carried out?"

"Yes. Because the risk assessment update plan has been cancelled."

The vector lowered its hand and looked at him.

I won't go into further explanation about shock waves.

He would not call this judgment an emotional influence, much less admit that he thought of someone's principles or established laws before carrying out the execution.

He would only say that everything is logically sound within the chain of reasoning, and then stop before it's too late to salvage the situation.

For a moment, she didn't know whether to feel relieved or have a headache first, but in the end she chose to have a headache.

What is the current status of the project?

"The release plan has been terminated, but cloning is still underway. Several individuals have completed basic growth, and the largest individual is in a waking state."

The courtroom fell silent once again.

The expression on Yin Xiang's faceplate was utterly distorted, with her mouth and eyes contorted in a grotesque grimace. If she were in a horror movie, she could probably be a terrifying boss.

Shockwave knew that every word he was saying now made the regulatory provisions he had just mentioned even more necessary.

But he still spoke up because he was subject to oversight, and also because it was she who asked.

The vector finally restrained its impulse:

"Take me to see it."

-

Shockwave's private laboratory is hidden deep within an abandoned underground mine.

The entrance was covered by mineral rocks, residual energy, and camouflaged signals. If it weren't for the shockwave's own guidance, even using the scanning program of the judicial center, this place would only be identified as a relatively unstable mineral vein.

The walls of the passageway retain the cutting marks left by ancient mining, and a cold light shines from the depths.

The gravitational vector followed behind the shock wave; only the two of them came to the laboratory.

When the last door opened, the space deep inside the mine was fully exposed.

This place resembles a giant underground hall that has been hollowed out and then erected.

In the center of the abandoned mine shaft, several enormous cylindrical culture vessels stretched from the ground all the way to the supporting beams above. Pipes extended from the bottom of the vessels, and a pale yellow culture solution flowed slowly within the transparent containers, while the life support system emitted soft operating sounds.

Shockwave walked to the very center of the structure: "The largest individual."

Inside the incubation chamber, a massive machine, nearly dragon-shaped, lay dormant.

Long neck, massive wings, folded claws, and a tail coiled beneath. The armor hadn't fully suffered external wear; the sharp outlines were blurred by the culture fluid, yet it still looked astonishing.

It was so big that even a machine like Megatron wouldn't stand a chance against it.

Shockwave introduced her to the culture chamber, his voice unchanged, but the vector sound revealed something rather subtle—the satisfaction and pride of confirming that a result had met expectations.

"This individual's neural circuitry is fully developed, its spark response is stable, and its combat potential far exceeds that of existing conventional large-scale mechs."

"The cloning success rate exceeded initial predictions."

Yin Xiang frowned, looking at him with a mixture of admiration and annoyance. Finally, he crossed his arms, sighed, and said:

"You're really amazing to be able to clone Cybertronian prehistoric creatures from fossils to this extent."

The shockwave paused for half a second, and a barely perceptible hint of satisfaction flashed in the red monocular.

Then she continued:

"But you've gotten me into trouble again."

Shockwave stated frankly, "This issue has been subject to ethical constraints."

The vector turned to look at him, feeling a sharp pain in its brain module.

"They are not your weapons."

"It is known that the Giant Frenzied has not yet been awakened, and its main consciousness status is unknown."

The enormous dragon-shaped outline was submerged in the pale yellow liquid, and it was quite intimidating just to look at it.

Guide the vector forward to stand under the incubator and press it against the cold outer wall.

Too many lives on Cybertron awaken because of other people's decisions.

"From this moment forward, the Giant Monster Project will be immediately placed under the supervision of the judicial central authorities."

Shockwave had no complaints: "Accepted."

"Submit all the information to me completely. You know exactly what you need to submit."

"Furthermore, cloning is prohibited, and the cultivated individuals are not allowed to be armed or transferred without authorization."

"The judicial center, the medical tower, and your unit will jointly assess their state of consciousness, ecological needs, and resettlement plans."

Shockwave felt that it would be illogical to refute at this point, so he said, "Okay."

Seeing that his brain module was still intact, he looked at the huge figure in the incubation chamber.

Many individuals were already in a state where they could be awakened. She hesitated for a moment before pressing the button; she needed to confirm the consciousness of these gigantic monsters.

The pale yellow culture medium was drawn out as it descended, and the enormous figure began to tremble slightly.

Finally, the vector couldn't resist adding a sentence:

"Shockwave, if you ever start your project with the words 'private project' again, I'll shut down your lab immediately."

The shockwave paused, and then he saw the gravitational vector staring at him silently.

Shockwave changed its tune: "Based on past records, it requires a degree of rationality."
