Chapter 647: Liluth’s suggestion
Chapter 647: Liluth’s suggestion
“Well, no,” Lorelie admitted.
“And yet you still think he deserves punishment?” Liluth asked before adding, “Do you think Adam would have told you about his ability if you had broached the subject of children, or do you think he would have kept it secret just to prevent any of you from getting pregnant?”
“Adam wouldn’t do that, he’s not that sort of man,” Lorelie replied.
“Are you sure? Because from where I’m sitting, it sounds like the three of you think he’s exactly that sort of man,” Liluth rebutted.
“No, no,” Lorelie replied.
“Then do you really think it’s fair that he has been relegated to the sofa for something that wasn’t entirely his fault?”
“I guess not,” Lorelie replied meekly.
“Then I suggest you speak with Stacey and Rowena about this,” Liluth replied while nodding before suggesting, “Perhaps instead you should go without sex for a while as your punishment.”
“WHAT!” Lorelie screamed in horror.
“Seems like the perfect suggestion from your reaction,” Liluth replied while smirking.
“No, please,” Lorelie pleaded.
“Are you saying your crime of almost cheating on them isn’t severe enough for such a punishment?” Liluth asked with a frown before adding, “Relationships have ended for less, you know.”
I’ll… I’ll consider it,” Lorelie replied meekly.
“Hmm,” Liluth replied as she studied Lorelie, before deciding to drop the subject for now and bring up another important topic, “Now let's talk about how you three are growing the harem without Adam’s knowledge or input.”
“Knowledge and input?” Lorelie repeated.
“You disagree?” Liluth asked before adding, “There’s Tephe, Revi, Susan, Erkath, Kasumi, Murial, Emma and now Elemence.
Other than discussions about Tephe, Kasumi and, most recently, Revi, which of them have you discussed with Adam?”
“What?” Lorelie asked in surprise before adding, “I don’t know anything about Susan, Erkath and Kasumi.”
“Not surprising since you three don’t even speak to one another about who you're planning to bring in until the last minute,” Liluth replied with an exasperated sigh before saying, “Kasumi is someone Rowena brought up to Adam after the pair officially became a couple, she wants Kasumi to join the harem to protect her from some dickhead back on her homeworld her family is forcing her to marry.
Erkath is also Rowena’s idea since Erkath and her partner have split up, though at the time Erkath took it as a joke.
Susan is, of course, Stacey’s idea since she wants her old friend to join the harem.”
“What the fuck,” Lorelie cursed.
“And then we have Emma and Elemence, who are your idea,” Liluth stated while ignoring Lorelie’s curse before asking, “So, do you think it’s appropriate for each of you to bring in women without talking to each other first, let alone Adam, whose harem it’s supposed to be?”
“No, I guess not,” Lorelie replied before asking defensively, “But what sort of a guy doesn’t want more women?”
“It’s a fair question, but I’m afraid you're in for disappointment when you suggest Elemence join the harem,” Liluth replied smugly.
“You think Adam will refuse to let her join?” Lorelie asked before frowning and adding, “And why are you appearing so smug?”
“I’m smug because I’m still the one who knows Adam best, even though I’m yet to officially join the harem,” Liluth replied before adding, “As for Elemence, you're going to have to wait and find out.”
“Nah, I don’t buy it. According to Aphrodite, any man dreams of having more women in his group relationship that are brought in by his existing women,” Lorelie replied.
“Oh, don’t even get me started on Aphrodite, that’s a whole other kettle of fish right there,” Liluth replied.
“Kettle of fish?” Lorelie asked in confusion.
“Sorry, it’s an Earth term that means a mess, muddle, or an awkward state of affairs,” Liluth explained.
“Is there a problem with Aphrodite joining?” Lorelie asked curiously before adding, “Other than how we’re still not sure if we can fully trust her faithfulness?”
“More of a complication than a problem, but I won’t say more than that,” Liluth replied and even though Lorelie tried to pry out more information, Liluth wouldn’t speak on the matter.
In the end, Lorelie could only sigh and give up, giving Liluth the opportunity to say, “Adam isn’t like Narven, who only sees beautiful women as a prize to be won and worn on his arm, after all, Narven’s excuse for hunting down the phoenix who stabbed you would be because it besmirched his reputation, whereas Adam’s did it out of revenge for someone he loves.”
“So he really does love me then?” Lorelie asked hopefully.
“He told you so before his collapse,” Liluth replied.
“I know,” Lorelie replied before adding, “But he wasn’t exactly thinking straight there.”
“True, but perhaps you getting stabbed will make him see exactly how much you truly mean to him and cause him to tell you for real this time,” Liluth replied while flashing a small smile, as Lorelie nodded in agreement.
“Right, now onto the next topic…” Lilulth began, but Lorelie interrupted her to ask in a worried tone.
“What else have I done wrong?”
Liluth chuckled before saying, “We need to discuss Elemence’s suggestion regarding the appointment of a leader among the women.”
“But as I told Elemence, Adam likes to treat us all equally,” Lorelie replied.
“I agree; however, as the harem continues to increase in size, some form of hierarchy will need to be established to maintain order,” Liluth replied before adding, “I’m sure the last thing Adam wants is to intervene in disputes between his women.”
“Then who did you have in mind as leader?” Lorelie asked before adding, “You?”
“I am not even officially part of the harem yet, how can I be the leader?” Liluth asked in return before adding, “No, that is something for the existing members to decide in the near future.”
“Then why bring it up now? Since you seem to know everything, surely you know that this is something I planned to broach with Stacey and Rowena once they returned,” Lorelie asked.
“True, but there are other parts of the hierarchy that we can discuss, though they wouldn’t be implemented for some time if they are agreed upon,” Liluth replied.
“Such as?” Lorelie asked curiously.
Instead of answering directly, Liluth smiled and asked, “Why do you suppose that secret organisation attempted to kill the entire Terran Imperial Family with the exception of Andrew Terrana?”
“You even know about the secret organisation?” Lorelie asked in shock before adding, “We’ve only just started to learn about them.”
Liluth didn’t respond except to calmly smile at Lorelie, who pouted before saying, “Fine. We suspected they did that to put Andrew Terrana on the throne, either for their own benefit or to use him as their pawn while they are the ones really in power.”
“Very good,” Liluth praised before asking with a scheming smirk, “An interesting idea, don’t you think, having someone trustworthy on the throne while you control things from the shadows?”
“What are you getting at?” Lorelie asked suspiciously.
“Your whole plan of only allowing those who are beneficial to the family into the harem is to allow the family to become powerful and influential, right?” Liluth asked.
“That’s the general premise,” Lorelie said in agreement.
“Then how powerful do you suppose the family would become if Adam had more lovers like Revi, those who ruled over their entire race and galaxy?” Liluth asked with a smirk before adding, “Empress Victoria Terrana, for example?”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on,” Lorelie said while raising a hand before asking in disbelief, “You're suggesting that we have Empress Victoria Terrana join the harem, just so that we secretly gain control of the Sandanar Galaxy? She isn’t even in power; her son, Emperor Steven Terrana, sits on the throne.”
“True, but Emperor Steven Terrana is young and his mother is the one advising him and teaching him how to rule,” Liluth replied while winking before adding, “Also, I’m not suggesting she joins the main harem, but instead the sub harem I suggest we create.”
“Sub harem?” Lorelie asked in confusion before asking in confusion, “How can someone have more than one group relationship?”
“It’s something we will have to plan out in the future,” Liluth said dismissively while waving her hand before adding, “But there are already several ideal targets to join the sub harem besides Empress Victoria Terrana. Isabella Flemming and Matriarch Maiya, for example.”
“Now you want us to take over the Felidae Galaxy, too?” Lorelie asked in disbelief before realising something and asking with a frown, “Isn’t this basically what you just lectured me about? You're planning to invite women without consulting Adam or the others.”
“First off, I am consulting you regarding this; second, I can’t consult Adam about it… at least not yet, but it’s naturally something I plan to do in the future, and third, I’m just discussing the idea of expanding on your original plan, sister,” Liluth replied with a smile as she raised a finger each time she said a number.
