Chapter 136: Generous immortal
Chapter 136: Generous immortal
"Aria wants that weapon; what is the price?"
Again in the glass platform, this time Ray was faced with another immortal that she felt closer with; sleeping with her for one night helped a lot. She was in her robe again, revealing most of her tits and her abs.
"Actually, what I want to sell is the formula of Pierce Magic."
Scarlet burst into laughter. "I’m going to tell Aria that you told her to fuck off. Now, on the matter at hand, what is the price?"
"Half a milion of dark crystals."
She waited a few seconds before replying, "100000. There is only one buyer of it, so we are the ones that put the price on it."
"Well, I guess I will keep it to myself."
"Contact me when you want to sell."
Stepping closer, Ray whispered into her ears, "How about some private time just between the two of us?"
Scarlet let him get as close as he wanted. "The reason you didn’t die last time was because I got nerfed. Do it right now and you will simply die."
"Who decided that?" Ray knew it too, but flirting with an immortal was an enjoyment on his checklist.
Scarlet’s hand trailed on his chest. "My older partners that got exploded after I lost a little control." As her hands reached his neck, her tone changed. "Become an immortal and we will talk; you see, there is a shortage of men my type on Mars."
Ray didn’t push any further; she truly was more dangerous than the star he had endured to pain. "Well, you can buy the formula and help get there sooner."
"We both know you will soon be there, even though the name is lust; sexual interactions were uncommon on Mars." Scarlet licked her lips. "You will change that for me!"
"Someone is watching." Ray’s tone changed as he felt a pair of unknown eyes on him; the presence was there for less than a second, but he couldn’t mistake it.
Without any hesitation a field of gravity was activated around the glass platform, yet whatever was in the field instead of teleporting started to run at an inhuman speed.
"It’s an angelic presence..." Scarlet gritted her teeth; if the words of the blood angel being their proxy spread out, things would have gotten messier than what they already were.
"Kill i—" Looking to her side, Ray was already gone. His aura shined after the weak aura of the angel spy.
She teleported back to Mars, "If those fuckers didn’t have that artifact." With an angry whisper she started to see what Ray would do.
Meanwhile, Ray followed the small bird in the clouds; it constantly changed form after entering the atmosphere of Earth to mislead Ray; however, he continued his hunt, just waiting for the right moment. Ray didn’t attack it until it wasn’t necessary.
The information was already in the hands of the militancy; if someone wanted to change the perception of normal people on a story, the best way was to make a bigger story.
With his wings growing, Ray increased his speed; the enemy’s talent to hide itself was admirable. At times it tried to hide between birds in the sky or insects. To its bad luck, Ray didn’t care and killed anything he saw.
"Such an ability is more terrifying than an actual power level of an immortal; I should kill it at all costs."
The person in charge was General Hank’s vice general, Angelic Bird. Having no fighting abilities, the only person who saw her position was General Hank; she loved her job too, with no risk and ease, she would have gathered information and gotten out to get her fat paycheck.
After seeing an immortal from Goddess Squad by Blood Angel’s side for a mere second, she lost her composure, causing her to be detected by both of them.
"He is working with the goddess squad! Help me! SOS! Help!" She screamed at the small device inside her mouth. "Save me!"
"Main reinforcement will be there in minutes; General Luga will be there in seconds. Go to Lio city."
Cold sweat covered her face; Lio City had billions of innocent people inside of it. "Surely they have a plan to stop people from being massacred."
From different parts of the planet Ray could sense generals were coming after him. "It wants to go to a populated city..."
Having an idea of their planning, Ray finally started to attack. The sky turned red as blood lances rained down on the small figure; it could only watch with open eyes before someone else interfered.
An old man stood above her, raising his hands in the sky like a prayer, and with each movement of his hand, a wooden doll appeared in the sky, mimicking its movement.
"Blood angel!" A roar came out from another direction, and a man riding the flames came into view. Ray remembered him from the festival.
A blood bullet escaped from the shield of the wooden quaint doll heading toward his target. Midair, a hand took it in her hands and broke it with ease.
Katarina’s smirk grew wider as another man joined the fight too; the head of all generals, General Armstrong, stood between them.
"I wonder what everyone will think when they understand that Goddess Squad is working with criminals like you, Blood Angel." Katarina licked her lips while making preparation for a fight.
"I wonder what everyone thinks when all of you can’t protect your little spy." A scythe appeared in his hand; its aura was enough for all of them to watch him with serious looks. All of them summoned their weapons one by one.
"Don’t have fun without me!" They were in the middle of the day with the sun above their heads, but as the new figure joined Ray’s side, an artificial moon stood in front of the sun, blocking the sunlight and giving a boost to the aura of the person that had created it. Facing General Armstrong, Marian said with an emotionless face, "You are mine."
